Unlike some of our competitors, luxurious pre-owned is designed from the ground up for a complete, smooth human-centered experience. Our service utilizes various animations, transitions, as well as logical and optimized layout choices to ensure that every second of your experience is spent on shopping. In addition, our service charges a very low flat rate fee rather than a percentaged based commission.

When me and the other engineer worked to translate our design proposal into a working functional application with code, we realized that there are more things we need to add to the application. Especially how a seller would sell his/her/their vehicles if needed. Hence, we added a bit more features at the top sector of the rectangular plane.

Rationale:

I started off working on the home page design of this application. At first, as the principal UI/UX designer, I was inclined towards a top down vertical layout, with filters at the left and perhaps other features (search bar) up top and listings concentrated on the bottom right sector of the plane. I first created a simple wireframe, then upped the fidelity a bit, and then moved to create a demo application with code. It turned out to be a good idea, and our final application page looks somewhat like this:

In addition, we implemented a few navigation button and controls, allowing for account management, home link, and sign up/register as well.

Rationale:

As a designer, I chose this monochromatic color scheme because of its strong symbolism and connection to life, energy, and life itself. I want our viewers and customers to think that we are not JUST selling cars, it is somewhat of an art, an art of doing business, our products and services are vivd, always on the road for future improvements and updates.
